Hi, my name is Sam and this page is used to demonstrate the autonomous car project in ECE 4960. This course will focus on systems level design and implementation of dynamic autonomous robots. We will try to covert a RC car into an autonmous robot with distance sensors, microprocessors, and bluetooth.
It equipped with waterproof rubber ring to protect inner accessory of the waterproof RC car boat which makes it possible to even drive on the water, The RC car can run on the land, Sandy beach, wetlands, weedy lawn and even water smoothly, work perfectly on bumpy grounds.
In this project, we will use Artemis Nano as our core processor. Besides, we will have ToF (time of flight) sensor and the IMU chip to combine precise acceleration and angular rate measurement in order to implement the dynamic behavior on the robot.
